Job Summary
The Director of Sales manages and supervises Market Managers, Broker Support & Call Center Supervisor, Sr. Manager Community Engagement & Member Retention, and Sales Trainer. The role involves representing Clever Care in the broker community, developing relationships, mentoring teams, and focusing on sales performance and growth. The position emphasizes broker channel success, as 85% of sales are broker-driven. Responsibilities include sales activity planning, reporting, member retention, and achieving sales goals.

Functions & Job Responsibilities

  • Performance reporting and strategic broker partnership development.
  • Manage internal sales teams, including employee and tele-sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Medicare sales management and development.
  • Motivate and lead teams for growth and performance.
  • Develop and oversee broker training programs.
  • Manage lead management and conversion processes.
  • Lead retention efforts across sales channels.
  • Communicate goals effectively to team members.
  • Respond to market trends and adapt accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS sales/marketing guidelines.
  • Foster accountability within the sales organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years in Medicare Sales.
  • 5 years leading teams.
  • 3 years in Broker/Agency sales, with experience working with Asian broker partners preferred.
  • Deep Medicare compliance knowledge and broker relationship skills.

Wage Range: $137,180/year to $180,000/year DOE, plus commission

Physical & Working Environment
Requires travel, ability to operate office equipment, sit/stand for long periods, and work in office or remote settings. May involve irregular hours. A background check is required. Salary may vary based on location.
