Electronics Assembler

Assembler Rework
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM with OT available
Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 1 year
Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing tasks as per documentation and allocated time.
  • Execute complex work and rework at both unit and component levels.
  • Select and implement appropriate methods, tools, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to production operators.
  • Initiate and manage continuous improvement actions within area of responsibility.
  • Perform final inspection activities in accordance with engineering orders (EOs), drawings, and relevant regulations.
  • Conduct control operations during manufacturing phases under delegated authority.
  • Inspect components, assemblies, and test setups in accordance with design drawings and test procedures.
  • Perform quality audits and support root cause analysis and corrective action proposals for Quality Notifications (QN).
  • Verify completion and sign-off of all QN tasks and elements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for product release and issue resolution.
  • Raise non-conformances (NCs) and corrective action reports (CARs) as required.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure adherence to build standards.
  • Prepare and distribute quality reports, tracking charts, and other required documentation.
  • Update escalation boards and status reports regularly.
  • Communicate discrepancies in manufacturing documentation to team leaders.
  • Collaborate with Return Material Authorization (RMA) team leaders and operators on quality issues.
  • Support knowledge sharing by explaining policies, practices, and technical facts within production areas.
Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma or Technical School Graduate.
Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role.
  • Experience performing quality system and process audits.
  • Proficient in handling mechanical inspection tools (e.g., calipers, rulers, scales).
  • Familiar with electronic sub-assemblies and system integration (1+ years).
  • Previous experience creating article inspection reports from 2D drawings.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift 15-30 pounds.
  • Ability to interpret and follow manufacturing instructions in English.
  • Solid knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and reports.
