Data Collection Specialist

Description:

In the position of Data Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting invoice-level data from the distribution network. You will ensure the integrity, alignment, cleansing, and validation of data used for reporting, forecasting, production, accruals, and promotional rebates across the enterprise.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Analyze and audit depletion data against internal systems of reporting distribution partners to ensure data accuracy and quality meet standards.
  2. Perform auditsdaily, weekly, monthly, and quarterlyof volume and call points to ensure alignment in both internal and external systems.
  3. Manage the end-to-end process of creating and quarterly auditing call points and retail outlets, ensuring alignment with outlet details, address, class of trade, premise type, and reporting hierarchy.
  4. Manage the matching process of reported outlets to the correct outlet master record through data gathering, entry, and validation.
  5. Create basic reports using graphs and charts of large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies, providing evidence to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  6. Protect confidential information from outside sources (bottlers and partners) and ensure it is not disseminated improperly.
  7. Ensure third-party information and materials are protected by following procedures and confidentiality agreements.
  8. Gather data and compile evidence to recommend and implement strategies for improving data collection processes and tools.
  9. Analyze, validate, prioritize, and execute maintenance requests to uphold standards and governance rules.
  10. Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain standard operating procedures for audits and other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Business, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data collection, data entry, or related roles.
  • Experience with data collection tools like Qualtrics, Google Forms, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Python and SQL is a plus.
  • Certifications in data management, database administration, or analytics are advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development.

Base Salary Range: $57,000 - $72,000
