Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and repair of our air cleaning industrial equipment at customer sites. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.

Job Details

Installation and Commissioning:
Install and commission air purification systems and related equipment at manufacturing facilities according to company standards and safety protocols. Ensure proper setup of filtration units, air handling units, and exhaust systems.

Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on air purification systems, including filtration units, air scrubbers, and exhaust fans, to ensure efficient operation and compliance with environmental standards.

Diagnostic Analysis:
Conduct diagnostic analysis of system malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure the continued reliability of air purification systems and related components, including filtration and ventilation systems.

Parts Management:
Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and components specific to air purification systems, ensuring that necessary materials are on hand for efficient maintenance and repair processes.

Customer Support:
Provide technical support and consultation to manufacturing facility teams regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air purification systems, ensuring they meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate service records, including detailed service reports, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs, specifically for air purification systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory standards during service visits, particularly focusing on maintaining a safe working environment in manufacturing settings and working with air purification systems.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, product enhancements, and customer satisfaction within the scope of air purification systems and environmental controls, providing feedback to the engineering and operations teams.

Training and Development:
Keep current with advancements in air purification technology, regulatory changes, and industry best practices through continuous professional development, training, and certifications.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training related to HVAC, environmental systems, or industrial equipment preferred.

Proven experience as a service technician, especially within industrial settings, with a focus on air purification, ventilation, and exhaust systems.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex air purification systems, including filtration units, exhaust fans, and air handling systems.

Familiarity with electrical systems, including motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and single and three-phase motors, particularly as they apply to air purification equipment.

Experience with airflow measurement, static pressure testing, and the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics for air purification and HVAC systems.

Knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, as well as control circuits, with a focus on air quality and pollution control equipment.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record for travel to client facilities.
