What You Will Accomplish

Lorea, the acclaimed restaurant at Pasea Hotel & Spa, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Private Events Manager to oversee private event operations, from initial client inquiry through to execution. This role involves handling corporate and social event bookings, crafting bespoke event experiences, and ensuring seamless service on the day of the event. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, luxurious environment and is passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences.

EVENT PLANNING & COORDINATION:

  • Oversee all aspects of private events ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences for corporate or social gatherings in the restaurant.
  • Consult with clients to understand their vision, create tailored event proposals, and provide expert guidance on menus, décor, and venue arrangements.
  • Collaborate with culinary, operations, and vendor teams to coordinate logistics, including setup, audiovisual needs, and event flow.
  • Proactively manage client expectations, addressing last-minute changes and challenges with professionalism and efficiency.

CLIENT RELATIONS & SALES:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for private event clients, delivering personalized service and seamless event experiences.
  • Build and nurture relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and key partners to drive bookings and repeat business.
  • Conduct site tours, consult with clients, and close event bookings while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Drive private event growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing promotional strategies, and collaborating with marketing to create attractive event packages.

EVENT EXECUTION & OVERSIGHT:

  • Be on-site during events to oversee setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during an event, ensuring the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Lead post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and seek feedback for continual improvement.

What You Will Bring

  • 2-4 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or restaurant event management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to think creatively and proactively to meet client needs.
  • Previous experience in luxury or upscale venues is a plus.
  • A passion for providing high-end, memorable experiences.

Great If you have

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management.
  • Experience in high-volume hospitality, restaurant, or event venue management.
  • Strong network connections with corporate clients, event planners, or vendors.
  • Knowledge of event planning software or CRM systems.
  • A creative eye for event design and guest experiences.
  • Sales or business development experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Experience managing event budgets or overseeing event staff and vendors.
