In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance & Actuarial Projects team. You will work closely with A&R to understand their vision, business requirements/solutions for Blue. You will ensure proper interconnectivity and dependency between the 3 workstreams (FP&A, Actuarial, A&R) and validate Blue's end-to-end design will enable the achievement of Blue's success metrics and goals. This includes partnering with leads across and within workstreams to understand their requirements (leveraging the workstream's completed business requirements) and partnering with the technology & data teams (including SI partners) to understand the technology & data solutions.

You will focus on driving execution within the predefined timelines, budgets, and benefits. This includes:

  1. Being well versed in critical path milestones including status, % complete, high-risk issues and the leadership/empowerment to drive resolution.
  2. Functional experience to partner with business/tech partners to identify dependent activities within individual Blue FP&A workstream, across Blue workstreams and projects outside of Blue.
  3. Provide guidance on Critical Path.
  4. Create/Maintain dependency mapping (visualization).
  5. Work with business to evaluate current state processes and identify which workflows could be automated, modified/optimized, or eliminated.
  6. Coordinate and drive discussions once decisions (i.e. Design Authority) are made to ensure business processes and stakeholders are evaluated from beginning (source) to end (report).
  7. Partner with Change/Comm to ensure appropriate communication of process changes to impacted stakeholder groups.

You will lead process redesign for specific areas with the end goal of optimizing hand-offs across the enterprise (between the functional areas and corporate vs. divisions), eliminating duplicate efforts or gaps, and maximizing efficiencies. This includes:

  1. Validating business requirements gathered optimizes the use of the various system platforms (Art of the possible).
  2. Working with business leads across Accounting, FP&A and Actuarial and the technology/data team to develop process flows that connect the end to end, with a focus on A&R, to identify gaps, areas of improvement (break down silos).

Your success aligns with the new capabilities and KPIs as outlined in the Blue approved CBAs.

You will lead workshops of varying scale and including all levels.

You will build industry relationships and proactively meet with vendors and other finance organizations outside of PL to gain best practices, apply learning lessons, identify new technology, and usage of tools.

You will lead and manage various ad-hoc projects within the Finance & Actuarial Projects team that map to our broader goal of driving process efficiencies and automation.

You will lead/mentor business analysts.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay: $163,620.00 - $199,980.00.
