We are supporting an early-stage, confidential search for a class II medical device company in Orange County and looking for a talented R&D Engineering Director.

Job Overview:

Oversee resources and competencies required to successfully execute technical projects which include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, embedded software development, digital applications development, technical writing, test laboratories and the application of global cyber-security requirements.

Manage Technical requirements and risks both to customer needs as well as compliance with applicable industry standards.

Continuously track and assure project goals i.e. compliance with committed product features, time to market, quality goals and cost/budget targets.

Requirements:

10-15 years of experience working on Class II medical devices

Minimum of 5 years of management experience required
