Restaurant Depot is a wholesale national restaurant supplier with multiple cash and carry warehouses throughout the country.

The position opening below is based out of our Anaheim buying department.

Summary: Assist the Alcohol Buyer in the creation of Purchase Orders and the placement/reorder of products with alcohol vendors for delivery to our warehouses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist Buyer in identifying vendors to improve offerings.
• Review Emergency Orders.
• Review printed Purchase Orders, maintaining all VFRT (Vendor Freight) requirements.
• Work on “old stock” items using reports. (Items 6 months old w/slow or no movement must be addressed). Coordinate with each individual warehouse-status of “old stock” items and seek resolutions for item discrepancy(s).
• Address Low-Stocks from each branch with urgency.
• Review Suspended and Open Orders.
• Review and Resolve any other store issues.

Position Requirements:

-Minimum of 2 years of buying department experience in the alcohol industry and in team management.

-Multi-tasking experience and able meet deadlines.

-Must be PC literate; knowledgeable with basic use of MS Office applications, email, UPC bar code knowledge.

-Customer Service-oriented and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills,
