POSITION SCOPE
Main Responsibilities:
-respond to sales leads
-generate own leads by prospecting for new clients and developing new accounts
-identify, document, and track opportunities electronically
-develop and implement account plans and strategies for existing customers and targeted new customers
-continuously learn about products, new product options, market trends
-provide answers to customer inquiries
-do takeoffs
-generate quotes, agreements, proposals and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-close sales
-report to sales manager
-perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS, ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
-minimum 1 year prior window & door sales experience is required
-minimum 2 years prior construction outside sales experience
-energetic, goal oriented, and highly organized personality with excellent time management skills
-motivated, self-starter
-strong work ethic with the ability to self-motivate
-history of being a team player
-ability to prospect new business via referral sources and warm calling (leads are provided) and/or cold calling
-a high degree of self-motivation and proactive personality
-excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and negotiation skills
-strong follow up and closing skills
-the ability to present products in response to unique customer needs
-high level of integrity in all business dealings
-Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office) knowledge
-ability to read plans
-clean driving record
-Bachelor's degree is preferred
