Responsibilities:

  • Personalized Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Companionship: Build meaningful relationships with clients, offering emotional support and companionship to brighten their days.
  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients' health conditions, ensuring timely intervention and medical assistance when needed.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
  • Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility exercises to enhance their independence and prevent falls.
  • Community Engagement: Encourage and assist clients in participating in social and recreational activities, fostering a sense of community and joy.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • $18 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No professional experience required. Family experience and/or professional caregiver experience is accepted.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
  • Ability to communicate with office staff, clients, and other caregivers through phone call, text, and email.
