Quality Inspector
Location: Chino, CA
Pay Rate: $18-$21hr
1st Shift Monday-Friday (5:30am-2:00pm)

Qualifications
Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Tests and inspects materials received and metal stamped parts at various stages of production process to ensure conformance to drawing specifications to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
• Measures angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, and other specifications using typical hand tools as well as a CMM and comparator
• Positions metal stamped parts on surface plate and lays out reference points and center lines on parts
• Computes angles, radii, and other implied dimensions of work piece
• Verifies physical properties and size of materials
• Checks parts for hardness by doing mechanical impact test
• Uses Micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges etc
• Inspects, adjusts, and verifies accuracy of gauges and measuring instruments for conformance to specifications
• Examines parts to aid in the discovery of defects and suggests corrective actions
• Inspects first article parts and assemblies
• Examines finished products for completion of operations and appearance
• Marks parts for acceptance or rejection
• Writes report regarding inspection and testing results
• All other duties and projects as assigned
