Our client in the electrical equipment and instrument industry is seeking a Coil Winder to join their team. As a Coil Winder, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.Job Title: Coil WinderLocation: Santa Ana, CAPay Range: $25.50 per hour + $3.00 shift differential pay for 3rd shift assignmentWhat's the Job?Wind standard coils for dry type transformersPerform welding and/or brazing to join bus bars to foilUtilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demandsInspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standardsWhat's Needed?Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futureHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution6 or more months using soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or equivalent high school trades coursePrevious Machine Operation experienceWhat's in it for me?$25.50 per hour + $3.00 shift differential pay for 3rd shift assignmentTraining will take place on 2nd shift (3:15 PM- 11:45 PM). 3rd shift work will begin on November 14th (10:00 PM- 5:00 AM).This is a 6.5 hour shift with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
