Hiring Range:

The hiring range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 p/hour This is the payscale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate, along with the requirements of the position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Enter, update, and maintain customer purchase orders.
  • Interact with clients, principals and Caltrol personnel by phone, email and/or face to face to ensure the clients, as well as Caltrol's, requirements are met.
  • Process Return Material Authorizations (internal & supplier external).
  • Process required tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enter orders into external Vendor business systems.
  • Proactively maintains assigned open orders report.
  • Ability to learn suppliers' ERP systems to ensure accuracy of unit pricing and discounts for order entry.
  • Responsible for post order activity.
  • Provide excellent customer service through pleasant customer experience, task ownership, accountability, and follow-up.
  • Back up for receptionist as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What we're looking for:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • At least one year in a customer service or order management position.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to work overtime as the situation requires.
  • Data Entry experience in ERP systems is preferred but not required.
  • Some knowledge of manufacturing a plus!

Expected Hours:

Normal 40 hours p/week Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime based on business needs.

Work Environment:

Standard office environment.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and a telephone. A standing desk may be available if accommodations are required.

Travel:

Very minimal. Possible travel for company trainings.
