Length: 6-12 month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time

Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
100% on-site – must be fully vaccinated or participate in daily questionnaire and protocols.

3 must haves:

Must be able to work with a lab coat, mask and/or gloves for at least 8 hours and be able to work on your feet for 8 hours
Must be able to commit to at least 3 months of consecutive service and be okay with weekly survey/questionnaire or testing
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. and push up to 300lbs on wheels and pass a background and physical and mask fit test

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The cage washers are currently working either on “clean” side or a “dirty” side. Sanitation processes take place on the “clean” side and the environment could be humid, hot, wet and Cage Washer's are to always wear water resistant shoes.

On the “dirty” side the cage washers will remove all of the rodent bedding, scrape the cages and you may be exposed to smells, dander and other materials used for bedding which could be very much soiled. Temps can be moved to different areas and should be open and flexible to do so, they may also need to assist in receiving and unloading materials from a truck.

CLEANING & SANITIZING
• Clean and wash cages, cage racks, trays, pans, water bottles, and sipper tubes
• Dispose the animal refuse
• Clean and sanitize animal quarters and adjacent areas
